The 3rd Transnational Project Meeting for the Erasmus+ project “CODESKILLS4ROBOTICS: Promoting Coding & STEM Skills through Robotics: Supporting Primary Schools to Develop Inclusive Digital Strategies for All” took place in Söderhamn, Sweden at the Halsingland Education Association (HEA) premises, on 23 & 24 January 2020.
Representatives of all six (6) partners participated in this very fruitful meeting from Greece, Cyprus, Belgium and Sweden and in particular from:
P1: National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” (GR)
P2: Lifelong Learning Platform (BE)
P3: Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary School Education of Crete (GR)
P4: Emphasys Centre (CY)
P5: Hellenic Mediterranean University (GR)
P6: Halsingland Education Association (SE)
During this second meeting of the consortium, the partners discussed the progress of the project and in particular their plans for the next few months, when CODESKILLS4ROBOTICS partners will test the programme in a few selected classrooms and develop accompanying materials including:
- A Guide to help you implement the CODESKILLS4ROBOTICS programme in these schools;
- A Data Bank with training opportunities and online materials on educational robotics;
- An app to have all training materials at your fingertips.
In addition, the dissemination plan and activities were also discussed as well as various management and financial issues were reviewed.
All results will be presented during the project final conference, which will take place in Brussels (Belgium), at the end of 2020 together, with a coding competition for students.
