The Swedish Conference (Multiplier Event) of the CODESKILLS4ROBOTICS project was held online in Söderhamn, Sweden, on Monday 29 March 2021 via the Microsoft Teams platform due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions and was organized by the Halsingland Education Association.
The event was attended by an audience of 40 people, mainly primary school teachers and parents and lasted for almost 3 hours. The audience had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work done in the project and realize its potential for both teachers and students.
The second part of the event was devoted to a discussion about the importance of coding and robotics knowledge and skills in early education and the impact they have later on in the academic and professional lives of children. A very fruitful discussion took place and all participants agreed that the educational activities of the project must continue despite the fact that the project has ended.
Teachers especially, showed a real interest in re-implementing the toolkit in their classes with their students as they found the products of the project very user-friendly, valuable and useful and expressed their gratitude for being introduced to the project.
